Assistant Manager – Engagement & Volunteer Management

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Manager for Engagement & Volunteer Management to lead our outreach efforts and volunteer programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong strategic mindset, excellent people management skills, and the ability to handle diverse stakeholders effectively.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Community Engagement & Outreach
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance community engagement and increase volunteer participation.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with community partners, organisations, and stakeholders.
    • Organise and oversee community outreach programs, ensuring alignment with SINDA’s mission and objectives.

 

  • Volunteer Management
    • Develop a robust volunteer management framework, including recruitment, training, engagement, and retention strategies.
    • Oversee volunteer deployment across various programs and initiatives.
    • Maintain an effective volunteer database and track volunteer impact.

 

  • Stakeholder & People Management
    • Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders, including government agencies, corporations, and community leaders.
    • Lead and motivate a team to execute engagement initiatives successfully.
    • Manage relationships with volunteers, ensuring a rewarding experience for all participants.

 

  • Process & Operational Excellence
    • Develop SOPs to ensure smooth programme operations and compliance.
    • Monitor program performance and suggest improvements based on data and feedback.
    • Ensure adherence to governance and regulatory requirements in community engagement efforts.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Community Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in community engagement, volunteer management, or stakeholder relations.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to develop long-term engagement plans.
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple stakeholders and manage relationships effectively.
  • Knowledge of process management, SOPs, and operational efficiencies. • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
